I am a founder of SiliconValleyLink, a strategy and business development practice uniting global entrepreneurs with Silicon Valley resources.
With vertical expertise is telecom, web 2.0, social media, consumer and video technologies, SaaS and enterprise applications, I bring strategic market resources to a range of high velocity clients.
I also write as a contributing editor for Streaming Media Magazine, and am working on a book about women in technology. I sit on the board of advisers of a networking startup.
Before my current adventure, I managed the consumer semiconductor program at IDC. I was responsible for forecast, market share and analysis of a wide range of markets, along with custom projects focused on strategic consulting, business planning. I covered end to end video value chain technology, digital TV, set-top box, MP3, portable video, DVD, cameras, connectivity in the home, and home network attached storage, plus media centers and gateways. Before IDC, I spent some time running my own business, doing strategic planning, market research, business development, conference directing, and a host of other activities in the high technology arena. I have worked at the corporate management level at a global startup, SwitchCore, as an analyst at DataQuest/Gartner, and in product marketing at AMD. Before working in "IT" high tech, I worked at an innovative environmental technology startup for several years. I began my career in environmental advocacy, consulting, and public policy. I hold a BS from UC Berkeley (Go Bears!) and an MBA from the FW Olin School of Business.
