I find this worthy of a guffaw. In part, because I loved my EZ Bake oven as a child, and in part, because I have a Senseo coffee brewer on my desk, being a technology-loving, lazy geek who does not want to go ALL THE WAY to the kitchen for my fix.
The Senseo is a Philips-designed coffee machine that brews coffee with a method similar to espresso making. It contains a microcontroller, and was recently featured at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose. See, semiconductors are cool. My only complaint is the quality of coffee branded as Senseo--it smells a bit dried out and stale, tastes a bit off. Am hoping for Starbucks or others to get in on the craze soon, or I will be forced to make my own (which I could easily do, but where's the convenience then?).
